According to a post on Reddit, a stuntman was injured during an Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! performance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios yesterday.
FYI: The information was posted in a thread (thread comment) on the fan-run Walt Disney World community page on the social media platform. The thread was called ‘Indiana Jones Show Ended Early’ (read below and here).
Approximately seven hours ago, u/MomentarilyContent posted the following comment:
“It was during the street scene when the acrobats were doing the floor show on the mats just as Indiana and Marion entered the scene. The injured stuntman was face down and moving his arm, but not getting up. The other acrobats moved the racks of clothes that are part of the set from the street scene to block the audience’s view of the injured man. They started playing music that was not typical for the show. A Cast Member brought a wheelchair, but I don’t think they used it. They [Cast Members] told us the show was cancelled and that safety is their main concern. I think the man was still prone on the floor when we left, and we were nearly the last ones out. No EMT vehicle or medical staff arrived while we were there. We hope he’s okay.”

My family and I were at the 3:30pm Indiana Jones show in Hollywood Studios, and early into it [appeared] one of the stunt people fell and wasn’t getting up. They quickly blocked off the view and said they were going to have to end the show for the safety of the performers, and we could comeback for the 4:40 [show] if we wanted. A lot of people seemed confused and it did briefly seem like it was part of the show but Cast Members began escorting folks out. Just curious if anyone else witnessed or hand any answers on if they are okay/what happened? How often does this kind of thing happen?
