We’re not too sure about this! More automated cameras have been installed at the Walt Disney World Resort, this time round at the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet inside the Town Square Theater at the Magic Kingdom.
According to Blog Mickey, the cameras have been installed in the book shelf across from the photo op with Mickey and Minnie Mouse – see in the photos below.

IN OUR OPINION, going the automated camera route with this highly-anticipated meet and greet really changes the guests experience with Mickey and Minnie. Not in a good way either…
“We’ll say this about the experience: despite the absolute best efforts by the attendant, the experience is devoid of magic.”
Mike, Blog Mickey
Automated cameras were recently implemented at the popular Darth Vader meet and greet in Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
We’d love to get your opinion on the route Disney is taking with automated cameras, comment down below.

Not a fan. Ruins the personal experience !
I do not think this a good move . takes away from the personal experience that you have . plus it may miss some really good photo shots that happen between your family and the characters.
Another way to cut down on Cast Members. Soon everything will be automated. Unemployment will skyrocket.
