Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Evacuated After Fire Alarm

Due to a fire alarm, Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom was evacuated yesterday afternoon.

According to WDWNT, the evacuation happened after the sudden end of the 1:15pm Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire performance.

It’s a possibility that the pyrotechnics for the end of Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire failed a safety check, which results in an evacuation and investigation regardless of if a fire broke out.

However, we have to point out that smoke was seen rising from the second level of Cinderella Castle. The photos below show the spotted smoke:

Reedy Creek Fire Department arrived on the scene and cleared the building in a timely manner. Once the building was cleared, guests were allowed to re-enter Cinderella Castle including Cinderella’s Royal Table.

“Cinderella’s Royal Table was completely evacuated. Guests then were allowed to line up to verify their Royal Table reservation and receive compensation or return for their meal.”
