Update 2: Twitter user @SunshineFrights has posted two photos of metal frames which have been placed/positioned in the New York section of Universal Studios Florida.
Why is this update so important? These metal frames are usually used to hold the information/warning signs for Halloween Horror Nights houses.
This suggests to us that the rumour could be true, and we could expect an announcement in the near future.

Is Universal Orlando Planning a Daytime Fall Halloween Event?
Update: Read into this what you will, nothing official has been announced…
Original Article: As with any kind of rumour, this information should be considered unofficial until Universal Orlando Resort officially confirms.
It has been rumoured that two Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses* are expected to open during the day at Universal Studios Florida, starting next week allegedly.
Looking closely at recent park hour changes, Universal Studios Florida now has a close time of 8:00pm on the 19th September.
Allegedly, this new offering will only be available on Saturdays at first, and then Wednesday through Saturday starting in mid-October.
At this time, there are no details available on the logistics of how these haunted houses will work in light of social distancing protocols.
Once again, as with any kind of rumour, this information should be considered unofficial unless, and until, Universal Orlando Resort officially confirms.
