Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Continues to Experience Technical Difficulties

It would appear that the new, immersive Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (SW: ROTR) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is continues to have a rough start, reportedly breaking down “multiple” times a day since it opened on the 5th December, 20191.

1: The attraction has been in operation for 7 days now.

Billed as the most impressive attraction undertaking in the history of Disney Parks, SW: ROTR2 opened officially on the 5th December, 2019.

According to guests posting on social media, the attraction has broken down “multiple” times a day since it opened, forcing guests to evacuate the area. Tweets posted by guests regarding the attraction breaking down can be found below:

Guests evacuated after the attraction reportedly went offline were offered fast passes to return to ride the attraction. Guests were also offered complimentary 1-Day Park Hoppers.

We will be reaching out to Walt Disney World Resort officials in due course to see if we can learn more about the attraction’s issues. This will be a developing article, so stay tuned for more updates.
