The map for the Walt Disney World Resort 2020 Marathon Weekend has been released, and its fair to say the route is massively different from past years. Let’s get into the details!
As you can see in the map below, the start and end of the race will be at Epcot. Runners will then turn north up World Drive and run through Magic Kingdom before heading for Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Animal Kingdom).
It would be safe to suggest routes appear to be the same until runners exit Animal Kingdom. Instead of running down Osceola Parkway and around ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, runners will make a u-turn and head down Western Way towards Blizzard Beach1.

The photo below shows a closer look at the modified route. Runners will run through Blizzard Beach before making their way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Hollywood Studios). A common route through Hollywood Studios will lead runners to the Epcot finish line2.
