Stay tuned as this is a developing story. Rollator walkers are “not permitted” at SeaWorld Orlando anymore. However, walkers without seats are “permitted.”
On the guest with disabilities webpage of the official SeaWorld Orlando website, there is now a section labelled ‘Rollator Walkers’. Here’s what it says under it:
“For the safety of our guests and employees, rollator walkers with seats on them are not permitted at SeaWorld Orlando. Alternative personal transportation options, including standard wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs), are available. Walkers without a seat are permitted.”

It would appear to us that this an all-new policy for SeaWorld Orlando. Using the Wayback Machine, the above information wasn’t on the website back in June or July.
As of publishing this article, we’ve reached out to SeaWorld Orlando to clarify the situation. Once again, stay tuned as this is a developing story.
Update: A SeaWorld Orlando spokesperson has told us the following:
“We are committed to providing a safe, accessible, and inclusive experience for our guests and Ambassadors. To support this, we have recently updated our guidance regarding rollator and wheeled walkers with seats. These devices can pose a safety concern if not used in accordance with manufacturer requirements, which strictly prohibit using them as a wheelchair. Rollator and wheeled walkers without seats are permitted, and other mobility options such as wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs) are available for guests. These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to safety and accessibility.”
