This is reassuring to us personally. According to a post on Reddit, “undercover cops are prevalent” at Halloween Horror Nights 34 (HHN 34) at Universal Studios Florida.
FYI: The information was posted in a thread on the fan-run Halloween Horror Nights community page on the social media platform.
Approximately 16 hours ago, u/Fearless-Park-4537 started the thread ‘Undercover Cops are Prevalent (Orlando)’ with the following:
“I honestly may have been outnumbered by teenagers, I have a babyface and am in my early twenties but was stopped twice once during the day once at night before entering a house by two undercover cops looking for underage drinking! Be wary and have fun! The second occurrence was quite annoying but I get it. The youngins were out on the prowl”

“I would prefer more uniformed, visible TM’s monitoring the queues to deter issues and be available when things happen. I don’t think there should be any active queue space that isn’t within view of a Team Member. It’s been fine in the past but the line jumping, switchback skipping, and pushing happening in unsupervised areas has gotten out of control.”

“I was there opening weekend and they were checking iD and giving out bright yellow wrist bands for those over 21 just so they wouldn’t get stopped by security (can still be IDed when buying the drink). I was told it was specifically for security so they don’t bother you.”

Approximately 24 hours ago, Jessica Howsare shared her experience with what she believed was an “undercover cop”. You can read what Howsare posted in the Halloween Horror Nights 2025 – Universal Studios Orlando Facebook group below:
We’re not sure what to make of Howsare’s experience. Stay tuned as we hope to learn more. According to Howsare, “the TM [Team Member] we spoke to confirmed they have undercover cops to catch underage drinking.”
We can assume they will be doing more than catching underage drinking, especially with recent assaults. Do we agree with undercover cops being at HHN 34? Absolutely, it makes the event just that little safer.
