The Walt Disney World Railroad at the Magic Kingdom had a delayed opening this morning due to a fire caused by the Happily Ever After fireworks.
According to WDWNT sources, the nighttime spectacular’s fireworks caused a fire in the woods around Magic Kingdom on either Monday or Tuesday night.
Emergency crews believed they had caught all the burn sports, however, they found more this morning. The Walt Disney World Railroad was temporarily closed until almost midday whilst crews cleaned up around the railroad track.

When a contributor for the established outlet road the Walt Disney World Railroad, they saw the spot that was destroyed by the fire. Trees had been cut down on the right side of the track, according to the WDWNT contributor.
The photo below shows the charred tree stumps and ground.

Cast Members were only dropped off behind Storybook circus instead of at the main entrance to the Magic Kingdom Utilidors due to the fire. At this time, all Magic Kingdom attractions are currently operating as usual.
