Man Accused of Raping Woman at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel 

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), a man has been locked up in Orange County after he raped a woman at Walt Disney World’s Dolphin Hotel (part of Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin).

Eyvor Gomez was arrested Monday and booked into jail.

According to the OCSO arrest affidavit, the victim said she was at the bar of the restaurant having a drink when the 49-year-old Gomez approached her and started talking. 

OCSO deputies said Gomez suggests the two move outside, out of view of the cameras, because he had his own alcohol. ‘Records” show that the victim went with Gomez.

The victim said that is where Gomez began making unwanted advances towards her, according to investigators. When the victim refused, Gomez shoved her against a wall, causing her to blackout. 

Investigators said a security camera caught the woman trying to crawl away from Gomez, who was seen yet again forcing himself on her and taking a picture of her with his mobile phone during the attack.

The woman eventually made her way back inside and sat with a group of strangers in an attempt to get away from Gomez. Investigators questioned Gomez, who first denied having any contact with the victim. 

OCSO deputies said Gomez then claimed they engaged in some consensual kissing, but denied forcing himself on her.  Gomez faces a charge of sexual battery. Stay tuned for further updates.
