Shrek 4-D opened at Universal Studios Florida on the 12th June, 2003. The attraction permanently closed on the 10th January, 2022.

With that being said, fans of Shrek 4-D can keep their memories alive by owning an original, and used attraction prop.

The Vault Collectibles booth, located in the Lakeland Antique Mall and owned by Eric Zinkann, specialises in theme park props, sourced “directly through the appropriate channels.”

With the closing of Shrek 4-D at Universal Studios Florida, a large inventory of props have become available to purchase.

Although the main piece/prop* sold for $7,500 to the owner of the Orlando Informer website, many other props are still available to purchase (some in duplicate).

*FYI: Pinocchio animatronic which was used in the attraction’s pre-show.

Talking to Attractions Magazine, Zinkann said:

“Most people don’t know that there were two theaters, hence, two of each prop. Yep. Two Pinocchios, two set of pigs, etc.”
