Cast Members Unblocked from Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Select Days This Month

Original Article: Having been barred from visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios for more than a year, Cast Members are once again allowed to visit.  

According to the online Cast Member block-out calendar, Cast Members will be able to visit the park using their self-admission pass on the dates listed below:

• 19^th, 20^th, 21^st January, 2021
• 26^th, 27^th, 28^th January, 2021

Hollywood Studios is still blocked out for the Main Entrance Pass, which is the friends and family pass for Cast Members. That essentially means Cast Members will only be able to get into the park by themselves.

So, what does this mean to the average guest? Disney has been blocking out Cast Member access to the park due to overwhelming guest demand for Hollywood Studios.

As of writing this article, the park is not at capacity for any ticket types on the dates mentioned above. This suggests to us that Disney are predicting the park will see a lower attendance then it has seen in the past few weeks and months.

Before the introduction of the Disney Park Pass reservation calendar, the Cast Member block-out calendar served as a “canary in the coal mine” for anticipated attendance trends at the Walt Disney World theme parks.

• 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th February, 2021
• 9^th, 10^th, 11^th February, 2021
