Original Article: As we reported last month, Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is rumoured to close permanently.

The show didn’t reopen with the park following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) closure, and sources told Mike of Blog Mickey that the show has closed permanently.

Disney hasn’t commented on the status of the show, however, they have removed the billboard that used to feature the logo of the attraction as well as some of the characters from The Little Mermaid.

The photo below shows what the billboard looked like before it was removed.

The photos below show what the billboard looks like now it has been removed.

The outdoor queue still has stills from The Little Mermaid, as seen in the photos below.

The billboard’s removal, whilst not an official statement, suggests to us that the rumour is true and the show has closed for good.

As with any kind of rumour, this information should be considered unofficial unless and until Disney officially confirms.
