A new audio safety message is now playing in the Walt Disney World theme parks, reminding guests to keep their face masks on while taking photos.

Old Safety Message:
“For the health and safety of everyone, please wear a face-covering at all times except when actively eating or drinking while stationary. Wash your hands often and thoroughly. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing. Maintain physical distancing, thank you for your cooperation.”
New Safety Message:
“Thank you for visiting us today: Please wear a face covering at all times including when taking photographs. The exception [for not wearing face masks] would be when eating and drinking while stationary. Clean hands often and thoroughly. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing. Maintain physical distancing, thank you.”
We have to praise Disney for the ability to adjust their messaging and protocols in order to provide a safe operating environment.
