As with any kind of rumour, this information should be considered unofficial unless and until Disney officially confirms.
Following the cancellation of this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it’s very likely that this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) at the Magic Kingdom will also be cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.
This information was brought to our attention by a thread started on the WDWMagic forums by user MansionButler84 – which you can read here.
Whilst the party may be cancelled, another user in the same thread on above-mentioned site has suggested that Disney are planning to be incorporate some elements of MVMCP into normal days after Thanksgiving.
It was also mentioned in the same thread that this year’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot is also likely to be cancelled. On this particular event/subject, another forum user said:
“The Candlelight Processional is being quietly cancelled. Several choir pages, on Facebook, have shared that they have been contacted about the cancellation.”
Again, until anything is officially announced, this information should be considered unofficial and a rumour. As always, stay tuned to Orlando Theme Park Zone for more.
