Tokyo Disney Resort has extended its closure until early April this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Tokyo Disneyland’s expansion grand opening will also be delayed until mid-May, 2020. Full details on the extension can be found here.
Initially opening on the 15th April, 2020, the vast expansion includes the all-new Beauty and the Beast attraction, Baymax attraction, Minnie’s Style Studio, and Fantasyland Forest Theatre.
Accurate dates for the parks’ reopening and the opening of the new attractions have not been revealed yet.
Sadly, the early April reopening means that guests will be unable to see the final week s of the Very Very Minnie event or the final performance of Fantasmic!
