Soarin’ Over California (SOC) will return for a limited time this month at Disney’s California Adventure (DCA), according to Disneyland insider (& Twitter user) @DLThings.
We’ve titled this article as a rumour due to the lack of an official announcement at the time of publishing, @DLThings has a terrific track record on Disneyland rumours.
According to related tweet (see below), SOC would return on the 28th February for a “limited engagement”.
Essentially, this would mean that the attraction would return to its original state on the same day that the brand new Magic Happens parade debuts at Disneyland.
Disney tends to run the “Over California (OC)” version of the attraction during expected high crowds at Disneyland. Mike of Blog Mickey made a funny yet interesting point:
“It’s almost like a carrot to try and get guests to visit Disney California Adventure when Disneyland has something new and exciting.”
Back in June, Disney brought back OC just days following the debut of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The original version of the attraction was so popular that it was extended until the 31st August.
An end date of the 21st April is expected, which would line up with the end date of the 2020 DCA Food & Wine Festival.
