As you plan for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort (Walt Disney World), we at Orlando Theme Park Zone wanted to provide you with a singular post for you to be able to reference for refurbishments/closures during your January 2020 visit.

New Ride Refurbishments at Walt Disney World

The following attractions1 and experiences are starting their refurbishments in January 2020:

  • Kali River Rapids
    • 6th January, 2020 to 20th March, 2020
  • Splash Mountain
    • 6th January, 2020 to 27th February, 2020
  • Test Track
    • 13th January, 2020 to 26th February, 2020
  • Typhoon Lagoon (Annual Refurbishment)
    • 13th January, 2020 to 28th March, 2020
  • Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
    • 19th January, 2020 to 27th January, 2020

  • Mouse Gear
    • Current location closing on the 4th January, 2020. Moving to a temporary location the day after. Find out more here.
