Free FuelRod Swaps to Finish This November at Walt Disney World

According to new signage on FuelRod kiosks at Walt Disney World Resort, free charger swaps will end this November. See in the photos below:

Starting on the 1^st November, swapping will now cost $3.00 per swap. In the beginning, the FuelRod chargers were a one-time purchase fee of $30.00, and guests using them could swap them out for new, fully charged batteries as many times as they liked.

When you first purchase a FuelRod kit it includes: a fully-charged battery and a charger cord with adapters for iPhone and Android devices. However, with this kit, it is still possible for guests to charge their batteries at home before heading to the theme parks.

This new fee follows Universal Orlando implementing the same fee at their FuelRod kiosks this past March. If you download the FuelRod app however, you can get free 5 swaps to save $15.00 in fees.
