As part of a series of operational cutbacks, a number of Walt Disney World Resort entertainment offerings are planned to close over the next month.
The Muppets Present Great Moments in American History and The Royal Majesty Maker will both close at the Magic Kingdom. Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party will be reduced to two shows per day.
The recently opened Lightning McQueens’ Pit Crew and Incredibles Super Shindig will both close at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Hakuna Matata Time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will also end.
The entertainment closures/reductions are expected to go into effect before the 6th October, 2019, however Disney has yet to make any official announcement on the changes. Here at Orlando Theme Park Zone, we’d like to make the following statement;
“We are massive fans of all the incredibly talented live performers and improve arts who help make guests each park experiences a unique one, one to remember per say. With that being said, we regret the loss of these shows/experiences.”
