Stay tuned as this is a developing and breaking story. A post by X user @WDWActiveCrime (Walt Disney World: Active Calls) states that there is an active Orange County Sheriff’s Office call at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground where a person has been found dead.
“It is located in the 1500 loop – Cottontail Curl of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort,” Walt Disney World: Active Calls told Orlando Theme Park Zone.


The X user added, “This is an active investigation, that is all I have at the moment. There are 21 sites in the 1500 loop. Anything else would be speculation. The call could call fall under unattended, natural causes, and so on.”
Walt Disney World Active Investigation has posted the following:
“The original call was 7:32am for Person Down. All Final Updates were to the call are: Dead Person @ Cottontail Curl Fort Wilderness. There were previous address errors.”

As of publishing this article, we’ve reached out to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for comment.
Earlier today, Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 70-year-old woman was transported from Disney Springs to the hospital where she later died yesterday.
Update: Orange County Sheriff’s Office have told us a man in his 60s has died at hospital after being transported from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
