As with any kind of rumour, this information should be considered unofficial Universal Orlando officially confirms.
According to Orlando Park Stop’s Alicia Stella, Steve Tatham (Executive Creative Director) said on the Superbold Podcast last month that Universal’s Epic Universe is set to open at the beginning of 2025 (before the summer).
“In short it’s a major new theme park in Orlando. It’s a full scale park, more than a hundred acres – the size of existing major parks that are here in Orlando – and it’s set to open at the beginning of next year, before next summer.”

Stella also suggests (in her latest article) that timelines may be changing around many of the rumoured Universal Orlando projects. The expansion of Epic Universe is being fasted tracked, according to Stella.
“It is likely that we’ll continue to see construction continue, even after the new theme park opens next year.”
