A female alleges that a male pushed past her, knocking her down in the queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.
“Law enforcement responded to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT after a confrontation between two strangers over a bum in line at EPCOT during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.”

According to a recently released Orange County Sheriff’s Office report (via WDWNT), the female fell and twisted her ankle. She declined medical treatment but insisted on pressing criminal charges.
The male insisted that he hadn’t intentionally done wrong, and the sheriff’s office believed him. The report said he was five foot five inches and weighed 130 pounds. The male wasn’t arrested or trespassed from EPCOT.
The “confrontation” occurred after the male took a member of his party to the restroom and rejoined the rest of his party in the queue on the 3rd July, 2023.
In the female’s version of the incident, she told law enforcement “she was approached by a woman and a child asking to pass them in line to meet up with their husband. [name redacted*] suggested that she ask her husband to stop and wait for her to catch up. [name redacted] then heard a man’s voice ask her, ‘So you’re not going to let us pass?’ Before [name redacted] could respond, the white male pushed her out of the way.”
She said there was plenty of space for the male to go around her in the queue without touching her. Other guests witnessed what happened, according to the female. However, law enforcement reportedly didn’t interview them.
In the male’s version of the incident, he walked past the female. The male claimed that she thought he was cutting in line and refused to let him pass.
“[the male] explained to her that he was passing back through the line because he took his grandson to the bathroom and he walked around [name redacted]. [He] advised at no point did he touch or push [name redacted],” the report said (via WDWNT). If there was physical contact, the male acknowledged it might have been from his backpack.
The male said he wasn’t “walking fast enough through the line to cause anyone to come off-balance or fall down because the line was crowded,” the report said (via WDWNT).
The sheriff’s office deputy listened to both sides, noting that the male had a thick Irish accent which made understanding him (getting his statement) hard. After hearing both sides, the deputy decided not to take action.
“I don’t feel there’s substantial evidence to enforce an arrest for battery. At no time was [the male’s] encounter with [name redacted] meant to intentionally cause harm and if there was contact between the two [it was] unintentional,” the report stated (via WDWNT).
The male’s day at EPCOT ended following the incident, as he and his party left the pack. The female’s day (with her party) at the park continued as normal.
