Universal Orlando are reducing designated smoking areas in their theme parks. It would appear to us that Universal Orlando are trying to go smoke free.
From now, there will be only one designated smoking area in each Universal Orlando theme park. Here’s everything you need to know:
The smoking area in Universal Studios Florida is in Gramercy Park (in front of Revenge of the Mummy).
The smoking area in Universal’s Islands of Adventure is in front of the lagoon in the Port of Entry section of Islands of Adventure.
Universal CityWalk Orlando smoking areas will remain the same.
At this time, the old smoking areas are still listed on the virtual Universal Orlando theme park maps and may still be available. However, they will unavailable soon.
Back in 2019, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort went smoking free. Designated smoking areas where moved to spots outside of the park entrances. However, guests still try to smoke inside the theme parks.
