According to WDWNT, a man was arrested after he allegedly got caught trying to sneak into the Magic Kingdom utilidors last month. The name of the man involved is Eugene Zehner.
When he was confronted, Zehner took a stroller and ran over the foot of a Disney security guard repeatedly, according to a recently released Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrest report (via WDWNT).
According to Orange County Circuit Court records (via WDWNT), Zehner has been charged with battery on a uniformed security officer. He has pleaded not guilty.

It’s fair to suggest that Zehner knows a thing or two about Walt Disney World backstage areas and bad guest behaviour. According to his LinkedIn profile (via WDWNT), he previously worked in Guest Relations at Disney World for nearly seven years.
According to the report (via WDWNT), Zehner was arrested on the 17th November, 2022.
Disney Security alerted a Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputy about a “verbal argument turned battery that occurred in the park by the tunnels near the entrance,” according to the report (via WDWNT). By tunnels, the deputy is referring to the infamous Magic Kingdom Utilidors.

The security guard said that he saw the Hawaiian shirt-clad Zehner “lift and remove the security ropes which is designed to keep people from entering the secured area,” the report said (via WDWNT).
Zehner ignored the security guard telling him to stop. Instead, he lifted the ropes to help his wife through. According to the report (via WDWNT), the security guard “approached them and attempted to tell them to stop as they violated company policy, but they kept yelling at him to move out of their way as they continued into the park.”
The security guard then ordered them to stay put so he could report the incident to his supervisor. Zehner then took a stroller he had been pushing and ran it over the foot of the security guard. It happened once more.
The security guard ordered them to stay again, and Zehner then rammed the security guard with the stroller. Disney was unable to provide surveillance footage of the alleged attack, according to the report (via WDWNT).
The security guard involved wasn’t injured, however, he said he was run over intentionally. He uninjured party involved in this incident wants to pursue criminal charges against Zehner.
When speaking to law enforcement, Zehner accused the security guard of being overly aggressive with him but wouldn’t elaborate with more details, the deputy said in the report (via WDWNT).
Zehner said he just wanted to leave the Magic Kingdom with his family. Instead, he was arrested and transported to the Orange County Jail. Disney Security trespassed Zehner’s wife and son, according to the report (via WDWNT).
Zehner claimed that he didn’t have any ID and said his name was Robert Jones. When the deputy searched Zehner for weapons, he found Zehner’s wallet with his ID that showed his real name.
“Due to this process not clearly hindering my investigation for an unreasonable amount of time. I will not charge him for providing false information,” the deputy wrote in the report (via WDWNT). Stay tuned for further updates.
