According to WDWNT, Walt Disney World has gone back on the promise to return parking trams to all theme parks this year.

The following paragraph is what used to be on the Walt Disney World website about the trams:

“Courtesy trams have returned to [the] Magic Kingdom park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park – and they’ll return to other Walt Disney World theme parks throughout 2022. Where available, this convenient mode of transportation will whisk guests from the theme park’s parking lot to its Main Entrance and back.”

However, a WDWNT contributor noticed the above statement had been removed from the Walt Disney World website recently. Almost a year ago, Disney Parks tweeted the following:

“Driver you are clear…to spread a little holiday cheer! Parking trams will be returning to Magic Kingdom Park later this month and other Walt Disney World theme parks throughout 2022!”

According to the established outlet, the parking trams returned to the Magic Kingdom in December 2021 and to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in May 2022.

However, with almost a month left until the end of the year, WDWNT is unsure if any of the other theme park trams will return.

The transportation service used to operate at all four theme parks. However, it was “discontinued” when the parks closed to the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

When the theme parks reopened, and all social distancing rules ended, the service remained unavailable.

At this time, there is no tram service at either EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Stay tuned for further updates.
