Construction work on the entrance of the Shrek 4-D building at Universal Studios Florida has ramped up. In our last update, exposed steel (added to the frame) formed an archway over the entrance.
The photo below shows the middle portion of the archway was covered in wood panelling. We’re not entirely sure when the panelling process began.

As you can see in the photo below show, the entire archway has been completely wood panelled.

According to WDWNT, this happened the day after the middle part was done.
After the entrance was wood panelled, it was then covered in yellow weather-proof sheeting. The photos below show the covered wood panelling:

As you can see in the above photo, only a strip of panelling is exposed at the bottom middle of the archway.
Several weeks ago, a WDWNT contributor saw crew members painting the back wall of the former Shrek 4-D show building. Now, there are grey streaks across it.

As you can see in the above photo, dark streaks of spray paint can be seen near the bottom of the building.
An interactive Minions attraction is rumoured to replace Shrek 4-D. We hope to hear more about its replacement in the near future.
