Human Remains Found on Universal Studios Japan Property [Update]


According to WDWNT, Nippon Television is reporting that human remains have been found on Universal Studios Japan property in Osaka. 

A Crew Member trimming trees along the theme park’s outer perimeter (northwestern periphery) discovered what appeared to be human remains in a shrubbery at around 2:30pm today, according to Nippon Television. 

After calling the police, forensic investigators were able to confirm it was a piece of a skull’s upper jaw. However, age and gender could not be identified at this time.

According to the established outlet, Osaka Prefectural Police are working around the area to find out whether more bones are buried around the area. No clothes were found, and investigations will continue tomorrow, according to WDWNT. 

Update: It is being reported that police have found a possible full human skeleton:

“We found [a] possible entire skeleton and a pair of trousers attached with a man’s belt in the same area.”
