Concept art for a potential Fast & Furious roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood has surfaced online courtesy of Screamscape.
At this time, the working title for the roller coaster is Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift.
The concept art above shows a C-shaped roller coaster track with a spinning roller coaster train on it high above the show building of the potential Fast & Furious roller coaster.
Screamscape compared the attraction’s potential system to that of Universal Studios Florida’s Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts (ride vehicles that have a controlled spin).
The Universal Studios Florida e-ticket attraction was manufactured by Intamin, who is said to be working on Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift as well.
Whilst Universal Studios Hollywood hasn’t officially announced the attraction, a permit was filed earlier this month.
It’s fair to suggest things could change between the concept art process and the final version. Stay tuned for further updates.
