Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale performances at Halloween Horror Nights 31 have been cancelled indefinitely due to damage caused by Hurricane Ian.

As the photo on the right below shows, the sign for the show has been taken down.

The above photo on the left shows what the signage looked like before last week’s deadly Hurricane. Usually, Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale has four shows a night, starting at 9:00pm.

The photo below shows a Team Member standing just outside the viewing area for the show (Central Park).

At this time, it’s unclear Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale will return for the remainder of Halloween Horror Nights 31 at Universal Studios Florida. Stay tuned for further updates.

Update: A tweet posted by Universal Orlando yesterday suggests they are working hard to resume performances of the show (find out more here).

Update #2: Sources have told Screamscape that the show will not be returning this year. Here’s everything you need to know:

“I’m not sure if Universal Orlando has ever confirmed the fate of Ghoulish at Halloween Horror Nights, but Screamscape sources tell us that is was confirmed internally that the show would not be returning for the season event.”
