Gatorland Temporarily Closed Due to Flooding Caused by Hurricane Ian

-

Gatorland is temporarily closed due to extensive flooding caused by Hurricane Ian, the deadly Hurricane that swept across the state of Florida last week.

A spokesperson for Gatorland said all the animals at its park are safe and are being cared for. The park plans to reopen to the public once the water recedes and conditions improve.

Gatorland CEO Mark McHugh provided an update on the park via its Facebook page this past Friday:

The park is asking parkgoers to monitor its website and social media pages for the announcement of a reopening date.
