Hey now! You were an all-star. Shrek 4-D at Universal Studios Florida closed for good on the 10th January, 2022.

That attraction has had a lengthy run, so it’s not a shock that fans made the effort to experience Shrek 4-D one last time.

Multiple publications, influencers, and fans turned up for the final showing. As the videos and photos below show, fans were seen singing and dancing:

Watch fans sing two songs from the Shrek films below:

According to WDWNT, fans chanted “Shrek! Shrek! Shrek!” continuously in the queue of the now-closed attraction. That atmosphere continued during the pre-show and film:

“You could feel the excitement from the crowd during the pre-show and the packed theater didn’t hold back with their reactions during the film. It was amazing!”

Annie Wilson, WDWNT

Upon exiting the theater, Team Members told fans that they could keep the 4-D glasses as Universal did not want them back. Shrek 4-D holds a special place in our hearts.
