Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom has reportedly been closed all day today.
The ride’s closure was likely expected by Disney, with the following push message sent out by Magic Kingdom Vice President Jason Kirk:
“Pardon The Inconvenience. On behalf of the entire team at the Magic Kingdom park, I’d like to apologise that Space Mountain is currently unavailable. Our Cast Members are working diligently to get the attraction up and running again, and we are sorry you are not able to experience this attraction at this time. I hope you will enjoy some of our other attractions during your experience in the park today.
The unforeseen closure of Space Mountain joins the unexpected closures of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Frozen Ever After at EPCOT this month.
Stay tuned to Orlando Theme Park Zone for further updates on the status of the e-ticket attraction.
