As we reported last Thursday, both the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island at the Magic Kingdom are scheduled to be closed through early next year for refurbishment.
The final day guests can experience both will be the 4th October, closing on the 5th October, 2020.
According to Cast Members that Blog Mickey spoke with, Rivers of America will be drained and cleaned during this refurbishment. 2018 was the last time Rivers of America was fully drained.
Cast Members also told the established out that the work is expected to last into January/February 2021.
