Walt Disney World is asking guests with resort reservations through the 31st December to either, confirm, modify, or cancel their vacations.

In a new email sent to guests, Disney says that guests need to confirm, modify, or cancel their resort stays at least 30 days prior to arrival.

If guests booked a resort stay between the 6th November, 2020 and 31st December, 2020 that was made before the 5th June, 2020 and has not been modified since the 5th June, Disney is sending out the following email:

Merry Moments Await: Though some of our experiences have changed, the magic will never fade. That’s especially true during the most magical season of all… the holiday season. And we can’t wait for you to come experience it during your upcoming Disney Resort hotel stay.

Through December 30th, you’ll have the chance to enjoy festive Character sightings, cheerful castle projects, themed merchandise and even special appearances by Santa Claus himself.

We ask that you kindly review all of the following operational updates and contact your Travel Professional to confirm, modify or cancel your upcoming visit.

Theme Parks & Experiences: If you haven’t heard, we’re thrilled to let you know that all four Walt Disney World theme parks are now open. And enven though your experience will be understandably different, there’s still so much to look forward to. Many [favourite] attractions are ready and waiting for you – plus, you’ll discover holiday-themed Character Cavalcades, seasonal décor and tasty treats.

Disney Springs is currently in a phased reopening with many retail and dining locations ready to welcome you.

Make Your Park Reservations: There’s one very important thing you need to do: make your Theme Park reservations through the new Disney Park Pass system. Because in order to enter a Theme Park, all Guests ages 3 and older must have a park reservation in addition to a valid ticket or annual pass for admission to the same park on the same date. Park reservations are limited in capacity, subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Resorts: Since Walt Disney World Resort is in a phased reopening, some Disney Resort hotels will remain closed during your stay. If you have a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel that won’t be open during your travel dates, your Travel Professional can help modify your Disney Resort hotel to a comparable accommodation at no additional charge.

Health and Well-Being Measures: While visiting Walt Disney World Resort, all guests ages 2 and older – along with all Cast Members – will be required to wear face coverings.

We know a stay here during this time will be different. But the world needs magic now more than ever. And we can’t wait to have you here with us. Response requested by [30 days prior to arrival].
