A petition online is asking Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to erect a memorial for a roller coaster construction worker who died in an accident Monday at a different attraction in Orlando.

21-year-old Jacob Kaminsky fell to his death this past Monday while conducting a daily safety check at the Orlando StarFlyer. You can find out more about the accident here.

The 21-year-old man’s connection to Busch Gardens Tampa Ba comes from his work on the still-unopened Iron Gwazi hybrid roller coaster.

The Change.org petition, which has garnered almost 3,000 since it was started, asks the park to erect some sort of sign or memorial for Kaminsky near the coaster – somewhere its easily visible to guests. The petition stated:

“The ride, as evidenced by his Instagram posts, was his pride and joy, and I think dedicating the ride in his [honour] is a wonderful way to pay tribute to him.”

The manufacturer of the upcoming Busch Gardens attraction, Rocky Mountain Construction, posted a tribute on its official Facebook page. Read below:

Once more, you can sign the petition here.
