Once again*, Universal Orlando has changed hours at Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
With high crowd levels so far on weekends this month, both parks will be closing an hour later for the next two Saturdays.
Park hours will remain the same on Sundays and throughout the week. Yesterday afternoon, the parks implemented a “soft close”, where attractions and shows operated an hour past official close times.
The “soft close” period allowed guests to make the most of their park day despite high crowd levels.
Park hour calendars for both parks can be found below. However, please keep in mind that hours have been changing fairly swiftly, so another change in the coming weeks is very likely.
Universal Studios Florida
Park hours for Universal Studios Florida are 9:00am to 5:00pm (with the exception of the 22nd August and 29th August when the park will stay open until 6:00pm). Moving into September, park hours have been reduced in the evenings, continuing through October.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Park hours for Universal’s Islands of Adventure are 10:00m to 6:00pm (with the exception of the 22nd August and 29th August, when the park will stay open until 7:00pm).
Universal’s Volcano Bay + Universal CityWalk Orlando
Hours for CityWalk and Volcano Bay remain unchanged at this time, with CityWalk open daily from 8:00am to 10:00pm, and Volcano Bay open 10:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays and 10:00am to 6:00pm on weekends.
