We’re very happy to report this! A YouTube channel with videos of individuals that appear to be trespassing at Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World theme parks has the got the attention of authorities.
The videos uploaded and published by Matthew St. Cyr appear to show people sneaking into Universal’s Volcano Bay, Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Stitch’s Great Escape at the Magic Kingdom, according to Click Orlando.
ST. Cyr told Click Orlando in an interview that he does it because of the revenue he gets from advertisements on his YouTube channel: “I make a living out of it. I’ve got to put food on the table somehow.”
During the interview, St. Cyr declined to say how much money he earns off his video. The YouTuber/social media influencer also refused to disclose his involvement in the creating of the videos on the channel.
ClickOrlando reported that St. Cyr has been arrested twice for trespassing, according to court records, including for an incident at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Records also showed that he has twice warnings on Disney property.
Both Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World officials are working with law enforcement to investigate the videos posted on his channel, according to ClickOrlando.
YouTube have demonetised St. Cyr’s channel so it’s no longer eligible to run ads. Patreon have suspended his fundraising account while they reviewed his content.
