A Universal Orlando Resort (Universal Orlando) employee was arrested on suspicion of stealing money from a theme park restaurant during a cash pickup, law enforcement officials said.

Orlando Police Department Officers (OPDO) responded Wednesday (16th October) to Universal Studios Florida in reference to a theft by an employee.
Loss prevention at the theme park told officers that $3,688 was missing from Fast Food Boulevard, a counter service restaurant in Springfield at Universal Studios Florida.
Officials said they were able to track the missing money back to a Universal Orlando employee identified as 31-year-old Denatio Orr of Orlando.
OPDO contacted Orr regarding the missing money, Orr admitted to stealing $2,500 during a cash pickup while working at the theme park.
Universal wanted to press charges against Orr, officials said. He was charged with theft by an employee and was given a $2,500 bond. Orr has since bonded out of jail.
Universal Orlando have revealed Orr is no longer employed at the company, as mentioned in the opening paragraph of this article.
