Original Post: This has Chapek’s name written all over it! We feel sorry for those involved in making the land immersive.
Disney have altered the names of menu items (MI) at Docking Bay 7 Food a Cargo1 by removing the Star-Wars themed element of the MI names.
Beforehand, names like Smoked Kaadu Ribs and Fried Endorian Tip-Yip featured on the menu, adding to the theme of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
All of the main entrees, including kids meals, now have normal, dumbed down names:

Example: Shaak Roast is now known as Beef Pot Roast and Yobshrimp Noodle Salad is now known as Shrimp & Noodle Salad.

Again, just like the adult menu, Fried Endorian Tip-Yip is now known as Fried Chicken.

The Taste of Takodana is now known as Veggie Dippers. Illustrated below, the Felucian Garden Spread is now known as the Hummus Garden Spread.

However, the desserts on the menu keep their original, themed names. As illustrated below:

Disney have yet to comment on the change, however it’s likely due to guest confusion, even though extensive descriptions are offered.
