Disney have announced that the My Disney Experience app and Disney World website are now the preferred home for making and modifying table service dining reservations.
Due to their “overwhelming popularity”, Disney has started to push guests to the app and website to handle most table service reservation actions.
While Disney wants guests to use either the app or website, the company say that “Cast Members at Disney Reservation Center will continue to be available to help with reservations for groups of eight or more, same-day cancellations. In addition to other assistance guests may need, including Disney Resort/hotel reservations, special offers, general questions and more”.
When asked about whether guests will be able to call (407) WDW-DINE, Disney repeated that the app and website are the preferred method to book and modify table service reservations.
