Over $20,000 in attraction parts from Peter Pan’s Flight and Space Mountain have been reportedly stolen after a burglary took place at Walt Disney World, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

A new report by law enforcement suggests that the pieces went missing from a storage shed located behind Test Track in Epcot. A Cast Member (“listed as a materials attendant”) noticed a set of sails from Peter Pan’s Flight missing during inventory counts…

…Later found that a “shell” and three ride vehicle seats from Space Mountain had also vanished. The report was filed with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) on the 2nd October, 2019, a day after the items were found missing.

These items were not tagged, nor did they have serial codes or any unique identifiers, according to OCSO. The storage shed is surrounded by fencing and was padlocked however.

Disney have not made any on comment on the case. This isn’t the first incident to take place in the past. This past May, a former Walt Disney World Cast Member was arrested after entering a restricted area in Disney and stealing and reselling over $7,000 in items from The Haunted Mansion.
