Disney Cast Members will be the first to ride the Disney Skyliner gondola system next week. The Cast Member previews will be broken down into 2 categories;
- Cast Members who work at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- Cast Members who work across the Walt Disney World Resort.
Hollywood Studios’ Cast Members Preview/Test
Hollywood Studios’ Cast Members will be able to board a test on the following dates, either before or after their designated shifts;
- 4:00pm – 10:00pm – 16th September, 2019
- 8:00am – 2:00pm – 18th September, 2019
- 6:00pm – 10:00pm – 18th September, 2019
Photos/videos cannot be taken (aka not permitted) during the above-mentioned test flights. If you’re a Hollywood Studios’ Cast Member, there is no need to sign up.
Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members
Starting on the 23rd September, 2019 and continuing through the 26th September, 2019, all Walt Disney Wold Resort are able to take a test flight following a successful registration.
If you’re a Walt Disney World Cast Member, you are asked to check the Hub for more details on how to register for their test flights on the 13th September, 2019.
With that being said, let’s move on to the second subject of the article… Costumes!
Disney Skyliner Cast Members have debuted their new costumes during the testing of the new transportation system – see in the photos below.

FYI: Men will wear a tangerine colour, whilst the women will be in teal – above photos illustrate the male uniform.
The Disney Skyliner gondola system will open/start transporting guests on the 29th September, 2019.
The new transportation system will transport guests between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to 4 resort hotels, which are listed below.
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Riviera Resort – set to open in December 2019.
