Watch an intoxicated dad being tackled and handcuffed by Orlando Police Department (OPD) officers in front of his children at Universal Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites in the video below.
As you can see in the above video, the belligerent man lashed out at an OPD officer before being taken down. You can hear his children pleading for him to stop (we truly hate that they witnessed this).
The clip is taken from bodycam footage uploaded on YouTube by Cop Action on Cam approximately 20 hours ago. You can watch the incident, which occurred in October 2024, unfold in the video below:
Per Cop Action on Cam:
“Welcome back to Cop Action on Cam. [This] video brings us to Universal Orlando’s Dockside Inn and Suites, where security called police wishing to have a man evicted after he caused multiple disturbances throughout the evening.
Despite being in town with his family for a cheer[leading] competition, the man was visibly intoxicated, yelling at Team Members and taunting officers with vulgar insults as police escorted him and his family towards the elevator.
His aggressive behavior escalated fast, leading to a forceful takedown. What should have been a cherished family memory turned into a nightmare, with a father tacked and handcuffed in front of his young children.
At the time of [this video’s] production this case was closed. The suspect was charged with battery, battery on a law enforcement officer, and disorderly conduct. His charges were later reduced and all charges were ultimately dismissed without a conviction.”
