Stay tuned as this is a developing story. A guest has died following a medical emergency at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
In an email to Entertainment Weekly, the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the name of the deceased guest as Matthew Cohn. He died Thursday on Walt Disney World property, Cohn is the third guest to have died in a matter of days.
“His examination is not yet complete, therefore the cause of death and Manner of Death have not been determined,” the representative added.

According to The U.S. Sun, the yet-to-be named (at the time of The U.S. Sun publishing their article) man reportedly paid cash for his room and jumped from the balcony.
Emergency services sources confirmed to the established outlet that yet-to-be-named man died by suicide. A source familiar with the investigation claimed that it was a yet-to-be named man who jumped from the 12th floor after checking in on Wednesday night and Paying for the room in cash.
Cohn’s death marks the third Walt Disney World guest death in a matter of 10 days, following a woman who died by an apparent suicide at the Contemporary Resort in early October and a man who died after a “medical episode” Tuesday morning at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
