Watch the moment an Orlando Police Department (OPD) officer pepper sprays a guest in Seuss Landing at Universal’s Islands of Adventure (Islands of Adventure) in the video below.
As you can see in the above video, the guest is taken to the ground and detained by two OPD officers, one who pepper sprayed him.
The almost two-minute clip is taken from bodycam footage uploaded on YouTube by Cop Action on Cam on 24th June, 2025. You can watch the incident, which occurred in February 2024, unfold in the video below:
On the afternoon of 11th February, 2024, the OPD responded to a call at Islands of Adventure. Universal Orlando Security had called for assistance after a guest at the park was accused of purposely running into and using religious slurs against a group of foreign guests.
OPD Officers made contact with the victims and the suspect, who quickly became belligerent after being asked to leave.
Because the victims did not wish to press charges, the guest was only charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. He was allowed to return to New Jersey after bailing out of jail and accepted a plea agreement.
