Orlando Theme Park News posted an article yesterday which suggests updated aerial footage of EPCOT for the finale of Soarin’ Around the World will be filmed in May.
“According to our source, the Walt Disney World Resort is currently planning to capture updated aerial footage of the park in early May 2024.”

“This footage will be captured after park close and will include the entire World Celebration Gardens as well as Spaceship Earth, which is expected to eventually be used as the new finale of the Soarin’ Around the World attraction.”

Since most of the World Celebration at EPCOT has been surrounded by construction walls, it makes sense why Walt Disney Imagineering wants to film new footage of the area before it officially opens. You can find out more here.
