While Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls is closed for refurbishment, portions of Toon Lagoon at Universal’s Islands of Adventure are being refurbished as well.
Outside the Toon Extra Store, the Tumbleweeds waving cactus figure has been removed for refurbishment. A box covered in green scrim is over the spot where the figure stands. The photo below shows the box in place:

The photo below shows nearly half of the courtyard (excluding Popeye statue) is surrounded by construction walls.


As you can see in the above photo, the construction walls surround the land’s popcorn stand. Guests can walk between the construction walls and Blondie’s to reach the bridge to Jurassic Park.
It’s worth pointing out that the Gasoline Alley gift shop is open behind the construction walls. The photos below show a black tarp connecting the construction walls over planters.
