Revenge of the Mummy reopened under technical rehearsals. During technical rehearsals, attractions may operate intermittently throughout the day. Universal Express is typically not available during technical rehearsals, according to WDWNT.
WDWNT believes Revenge of the Mummy was in technical rehearsal for an extended period of time due to its lengthy refurbishment, which involved some significant changes to the ride’s systems.
Attractions need to meet specific requirements to be considered fully operational, and the launch hill’s new piece likely required extra testing time so that adjustments could be made.
According to the established outlet, Revenge of the Mummy has gone down quite a bit since its extended refurbishment finished. It’s fair to assume the fan-favourite attraction has required more time for the maintenance team to sort out the issues.

It’s also worth mentioning that a-frame signs mentioning technical rehearsals have been removed. However, the official Universal Orlando website still states the ride is in technical rehearsal. Stay tuned for further updates.
