A lot has changed since our last update including the announcement of Shrek 4-D’s replacement.
Concrete has now been added to the entrance facade (facade) of Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast at Universal Studios Florida.
Before the concrete was applied, the facade was covered in grey plaster after being protected by weather-proof sheeting.
As you can see in the photos below, the facade is really taking shape now the concrete has been added.


Light fixtures have been added to the facade and are covered whilst construction continues on the upcoming Universal Studios Florida attraction. The photos below show the recently installed fixtures:


Whilst the most visible construction is at the entrance of Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast, “crews” have also been repainting the upcoming attraction’s show building.


Going back to light fixtures one more time, the photo below shows fixtures that have been installed along the rest of the show building.
